Start the Group Policy editor by typing gpedit.msc in the Start\Run window.
Navigate to:
Local Computer Policy\User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer\Common Open File Dialogue
Double click on the Items displayed in Places Bar then click on the Enabled radio button and you have the possibility to enter five custom locations that will show up in save dialogue sidebar. Enter the locations like: f.e. “D:\My Saves”, “\\OtherPC\Backup” and fill up the five spaces.
Click Apply and there you have it, your own customized places bar.
