Celebrating 24th birthday of my breadbox Commodore 64

I have been thinking about it for a long time now, but never found the time or the opportunity to do this. This is how it looked when I started:

Dirty C64

After carefully disassembling commodore 64, I have successfully removed both upper and lower plastic and took out all the keys it was time to wash it. I used general detergent for dishes famous Fairy soaked the keys in soapy water, while I showered the covers with soaping it with sponge. The result is pretty amazing:

Clean C64

I have treated both of my old 1541II drives but unfortunately I have no before / after photos, but believe me it looks great. Now I am waiting for proper video cable so that I can hook up this baby to my LCD. Could you believe that on 22.12.2013 this breadbox would be in my possession for 24 years :)))
